We can all agree that this October hasn’t arrived with the same excitement like it usually does. Half of us are still stuck „waiting for spring that never arrived“ (well, it did, but we were indoors) while the other half is dreading of fall/winter and being indoors not necessarily because of the viruses, but because of the cold weather and rain that comes with it.
To make myself feel more normal, I picked up some beauty products (read: treats) to ease me into autumn. MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream was the product I was really happy about seeing in a drugstore. I heard some good things about this one and it could be a good alternative for Clarins Detox BB Fluid I’ve been using for years. We all need a change once in a while, don’t we?
Next I’ve got is a new eyeshadow from Catrice. It’s their Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow in color 160 Silicon Violet. I’ve had their eyeshadows before and I thought it would be excellent addition in my makeup bag. I don’t have a lot of eyeshadows and this shimmery muted pink color is enough to spice my eye makeup, but not too much for me to feel like I’m full glam. Anyone that knows me, knows I’m anything but.
The last item, Revox Just Peptides, was never on my agenda to purchase. Lady in beauty store made me buy it. It seemed like Biotherm Aquasource Serum but in a much cheaper version. So I’ll give it a go and report back.
These were my small beauty purchases for this fall. I hope your October went great and that you had a gradual transition into colder days.
Until next time,
